STEP 2
Your home uses the solar power first
This means you buy less electricity from your supplier.

STEP 3
The battery stores extra  power
So you can use more solar electricity later.

STEP 4
You still have normal electricity from the grid
If you need more power, it comes from your supplier.
SIMPLE STEPS

You keep your usual electricity supplier

There is no upfront installation cost if your home is suitable and you are eligible.

The scheme is designed to help you pay less overall than buying all your electricity from your usual supplier. Your exact savings depend on your home, your energy use and your agreement.

You may receive two bills, but you do not pay twice for the same electricity. You can change your usual electricity supplier if you want to. Your CES agreement stays separate.
